I’m so close to giving up. I don’t want to give up on us, but it’s slowly becoming my only option. I love you with all of my heart but I’m starting to come to terms with the idea that you don’t feel that way, and maybe you never have.
I could have someone holding my hand and telling me they love me everyday. Someone who doesn’t hurt me and doesn’t fight me or make me feel like a disappointment. I can have these things, things everyone wants. But for some reason I’m sitting here just waiting for you to care in the slightest. I don’t think you even recognize how much I am in love with you.
